Καλή χρονιά (ναι, έχει πάει 8 Ιανουαρίου) και καλώς ήρθατε στην πιο αργοπορημένη ανασκόπηση του 2024!
✍️ Ακόμη ένας χρόνος newsletter
Αισίως αυτό το newsletter κυκλοφορεί εδώ και δύο χρόνια και για να κρατήσουμε τα πράγματα ενδιαφέροντα το 2024 αποφασίσαμε να ξαναβιώσουμε το μαγικό έτος 2004, αναπολώντας κάθε μήνα του 2004 τον αντίστοιχο μήνα του 2024 σε μορφή μηνιαίου αφιερώματος…
Βρήκαμε αυτό το ταξίδι στο χρόνο άκρως απολαυστικό και ευτυχώς φαίνεται ότι το απολαύσατε και πολλοί από εσάς!

👕 Pop-ups & merch
Το 2024 κάναμε 3 θεματικά merch drops: 2004, Καλιαρντά/Λαϊκά, και Αρχιτεκτονική.
Διοργανώσαμε επίσης και 4 pop-up events: τον Απρίλιο στο Somerset House του Λονδίνου, τον Ιούλιο στο Teras στην Αθήνα, και τον Δεκέμβριο στο αρχιτεκτονικό γραφείο XT-97 στην Αθήνα και στο Ύδρο στην Θεσσαλονίκη. Πέρα από τα δικά μας pop-up events, συμμετείχαμε και στο Κυψέλη Xmas Beat σε διοργάνωση της _&Beyond.
Το 2025 σκοπεύουμε να κάνουμε περισσότερα events σε ακόμα πιο πολλά νέα μέρη!
📲 Συνεντεύξεις, ραδιόφωνο και podcasts

Τέλος, το εξαιρετικό Μικροπράγματα της LIFO, ένα από τα πιο δημοφιλή και διεισδυτικά podcasts, μας περιέλαβε στα βραβεία του για το 2024. Μπορείτε να το ακούσετε εδώ (από το 1:01:01 και μετά, αμέσως μετά τον Παπακαλιάτη!).
🛏️ Συνεργασία με Ace Hotel Athens
Το καλοκαίρι επίσης συνεργαστήκαμε με το Ace Hotel Athens σε μια σειρά από posts που αναδεικνύουν στιγμές από την Αθηναϊκή Ριβιέρα ανά τα χρόνια, όπως τα νυχτερινά κέντρα της Παραλιακής, το Πάρτυ στη Βουλιαγμένη και το skatepark της Γλυφάδας.
Επιπλέον, κάναμε curate τη συλλογή βινυλίων του ξενοδοχείου με περίπου 205 ελληνικούς δίσκους, από Στέρεο Νόβα, Τρύπες και Λένα Πλάτωνος μέχρι Μητροπάνο, Nalyssa Green και Terror X Crew.
Μέσα στο 2025 θα δείτε και άλλα πράγματα από εμάς σε συνεργασία με το Ace.

✨ Η ελληνική hip hop σκηνή σε μεγάλο βαθμό φαίνεται να έχει βρεθεί σε ενα δημιουργικό τέλμα
✨ Το πρόγραμμα ‘What If Women Ruled The World’ του ΕΜΣΤ ανέδειξε τη δουλειά πολλών γυναικών καλλιτεχνών - αγαπημένη μας έκθεση αυτή της Λήδας Παπακωνσταντίνου
✨ Στο περσινό recap είχαμε δώσει το update ότι η Κάλλια έγινε swiftie, οπότε φέτος πήγαμε και στο The Eras tour στη Στοκχόλμη

Happy new year (we do know it’s already the 8th of January) and welcome to a very delayed 2024 recap!
✍️ Another year of Greek Visions newsletters
This newsletter has been around for two years (!) and to keep things interesting last year, we decided to celebrate the 20 years from the glorious year 2004 by producing a monthly newsletter where we revisited each month of 2004 to highlight what happened in Greece that crucial year.
We thoroughly enjoyed the journey back in time and thankfully you seemed to enjoy it just as much!

👕 Pop-ups & merch
In 2024 we did 3 thematic merch drops: 2004, Καλιαρντά/Λαϊκά, και Architecture.
We also organised 4 pop-up events: in April at Somerset House in London, in July at Teras in Athens, and in December at XT-97 architecture studio in Athens and at Ύδρο in Thessaloniki. In addition to our own pop-up events, we participated in the Kipseli Xmas Beat event organised by _&Beyond.
In 2025 we plan to organise more events in many other places!

In July we gave an interview to Oneman.gr. You can read it here!
A few days ago we also gave our first radio interview to Nostos Radio 100.6FM. You can listen to it here! We were also asked to rate some tracks and you can watch that video here!
Finally, the excellent LIFO podcast “Μικροπράγματα”, one of the most popular and in-depth podcasts out there, included us in their awards for 2024. You can listen to this episode here (from 1:01:01 onwards, right after Christophoros Papakaliatis!).
🛏️ Collaboration with Ace Hotel Athens
This summer we collaborated with Ace Hotel Athens to create a series of posts highlighting moments from the Athens Riviera over the years, including the seaside night clubs, the infamous party in Vouliagmeni and the Glyfada skatepark.
We also curated the hotel’s vinyl collection featuring almost 205 Greek albums, from Stereo Nova, Trypes and Lena Platonos to Mitropanos, Nalyssa Green and Terror X Crew.
In 2025 you will see more from our collaboration with Ace Hotel.

✨ The Greek hip hop scene appears to be in a creative stalemate
✨ Τhe ‘What If Women Ruled The World’ cycle of exhibitions at ΕΜΣΤ showcased the work of many female artists - our favourite one was by Leda Papakonstantinou
✨ In last year’s recap, we confirmed that Kallia had turned into a swiftie, so in 2024 we predictably attended the Eras Tour in Stockholm
✨ Our favourite live shows included: Outbreak Fest in Manchester, Knocked Loose at the Ο2 Academy, Charlie XCX’s secret show in London, Underoath in Manchester, Fred Again at Vouliagmeni Lake, Bring Me The Horizon in Athens and Orchid in Chicago.
